HUSBAND HAD DIALYSIS THREE TIMES EACH WEEK, AND AT LEAST ONE VISIT EACH WEEK ENDED UP WITH BLOOD ON THE CLOTHING. I ALWAYS APPLIED WHEN WE REMOVED THE SOILED ITEM; AND, AGAIN WHEN I PUT INTO THE WASH. I NEVER PRE-SOAKED OR ANYTHING; JUST TRIED TO TREAT INITIALLY WHILE STILL WET. BUT, IF IT GOT BY ME (SMALL DOTS OF BLOOD); I WOULD TREAT EVEN AFTER GOING THROUGH THE DRYER AND IT WOULD COME OUT. I AGREE, TOO, THAT DAWN IS A GREAT CLEANER, STAIN REMOVER. I WASH VEHICLE WITH THE DAWN–IT REMOVES THE GREASY GRIME OF ROAD TRAVEL ON MY TRUCK.
