Hi, Janicia. Without seeing the scarf, it’s hard to say why it would loosen up. I am far from a crochet expert, but I guess the first thing I would do is make sure the knots at each end are good and tight. I would also want to know what size crochet hook you used, but as long as the scarf isn’t unraveling, it’s probably okay. Let me know if it still bothers you, and I’ll do a little more digging to troubleshoot the problem.
